Spot On Carriers, initiated business in 1989 by Mr. Benny Moodley who is the sole proprieter. The business was started primarily as a carrier for most of the other well-known courier companies.
Having started a delivery service to the Pietermaritzburg area two times daily, with just one vehicle, he reached his goal of having three vehicles in place, which serviced the three main areas in Kwa Zulu Natal by the end of the same year. The three main areas being, Pietermaritzburg /Hilton/ Howick, South Coast/Port Shepstone/Port Edward and the North Coast up to Richards Bay and Empangeni.
With the head office in Durban, we are linked with other network service providers throughout the Republic of South Africa and Internationally. We have also diversified our service range, in service levels (Same Day-Overnight-Next Day-Economy) and extended these services to all South Africa’s
centers and smaller towns.
Spot On Carriers has reached the mark of being able to provide a global door to door service, coupled with competitive and market related rates. Since then the company has opened a Logistics, Same Day and a Customer Services division. With the latest technology in fleet management and vehicle security devices in place, we are able to track the whereabouts of any vehicle and its cargo at any given time. This enables us to provide the client with a proof of delivery or an estimated delivery time. To date we have captured the freight market and earned the respect of our clients who put their trust in our efficient staff and management team.
